Adventures in letterpress in Guelph, Ontario

About

This blog will document the acquisition of an old style Chandler & Price hand-fed platen jobbing press (made perhaps in 1898 or 1899), the creation of a print shop where it will live, and the projects that it will produce once functional. And of course, the many things that are sure to go wrong along the way.

  1. Hey Julian, is that you? Congratulations, how cool! Your dad passed your site on to me. I shall follow your progress. I am just about to publish my book! If I refund you the postage, will you send me a print of your first press? C.D.P.

  2. Hello Julian, your mom passed your site on to me. What an amazing process! I wish you all the best with your enterprise and look forward to reading your posts. What an adventure.
